Yr wythnos diwethaf bu disgyblion blwyddyn 5 a 6 yn brysur yn dysgu am wrthiant aer a disgyrchiant. Bu’r disgyblion yn creu adnoddau yn y dosbarth er mwyn  arbrofi pa siapiau a defnydd oedd yn achosi’r mwyaf a lleiaf o wrthiant aer a disgyrchiant.

Fe aeth y plant ymlaen wedyn i ddylunio a chreu parasiwt ei hunan wrth adfyfyrio ar waith blaenorol.

Yn olaf fe gafodd y plant cyfle i greu arbrawf teg i weld pa barasiwt oedd y gorau o ran arwynebedd a defnydd.

Last week, year 5 and 6 pupils were busy learning about air resistance and gravity. The pupils created resources in the classroom to experiment to discover which shapes and materials caused the most and least air resistance and gravity.

The children then went on to design and create their own parachutes while reflecting on previous work.

Finally the children had the opportunity to conduct a experiment  to see which parachute was best.
