It was e-safety day last week so we had a story about Smartie the e-safety penguin and discussed how important it is to ask our adults for help when playing online and if we come across something unfamiliar.
We discussed what gadgets we use at school and in our homes! We have a variety at school and at home. The children were able to name many devices that they use. It is a good idea to use timers on different apps and games to help the children understand transitions.
Beth ydych chi wedi gwneud i gadw’n heini dros y penwythnos?
We were very lucky to receive a visit from Heini from the Cyw crew last week. Heini is a lively character, fit and full of fun. Everyone wore pink clothes or exercise clothes to take part in the session, everyone had fun. Heini sang Welsh songs and danced while exercising with the children. We talked about how important it is to keep fit.
What have you done to keep fit over the weekend?
As you know our theme this season is Bright Colours, so we have been experimenting in different ways by mixing colours. This time we had tried growing a rainbow by creating a pattern on kitchen tissue paper and holding it in water. The children enjoyed seeing the water change colour depending on which colours they had used to create a pattern.
