I ddysgu am y byd o’n cwmpas

To learn about the world around us.

Cawsom amser gwych yn ddiweddar gydag Adam yn yr ardd yn dysgu am wahanol lysiau a phlannu yn yr ardal allanol. Rydym wedi plannu winwns, garlleg a roced. Oes ganddoch chi llysiau yn tyfu?

We had a great time recently with ‘Adam yn yr ardd’ learning about different vegetables and planting in the outdoor area. We have planted onions, garlic and rocket. Do you have vegetables growing?

Mae plant y derbyn wedi mwynhau archwilio’r ardal awyr agored ddatblygedig. Rydym wedi bod yn plannu, dringo, cydbwyso a llawer mwy!

The reception children have enjoyed exploring the developed outdoor area. We have been planting, climbing, balancing and much more!

Ein hymweliad cyntaf tu allan o’r ysgol. Bws i’r orsaf dân yn Nhreforys i ddysgu am y gwaith a gweld sut mae’r bibell ddŵr yn gweithio a chael tro yn yr injan arbennig ei hun! Beth oedd eich plentyn chi wedi mwynhau am y daith?

Our first visit outside the school. Bus to the fire station in Morriston to learn about the work and see how the water hose works and have a spin in the special engine itself! What did your child enjoy about the visit?

Ymweliad arall gan arwr lleol, daeth Siân o’r RNLI i mewn i siarad â’r plant am gadw’n ddiogel ar y dŵr, mewn cychod ac ar draethau. Dangosodd y cit ac yr oedd y plant wrth eu bodd yn cael tro gwisgo arno. Mae gennym ychydig o achubwyr bywyd y dyfodol ar ein dwylo.

Another visit from a local hero, Siân from the RNLI came in to talk to the children about keeping safe on the water, in boats and on beaches. She showed the kit and the children were delighted to have a turn wearing it. We have a few future lifeguards on our hands.

Helfa Siapiau / Shape Hunt

 

Rwyf wedi archwilio, cymharu, a defnyddio iaith gyffredinol siapiau trwy chwarae ymchwiliol.
I have explored, compared, and used the universal language of shapes through investigative play.

Am hwyl a sbri yn chwilio am wahanol siapiau yn ein hardal allanol. Roedd pawb yn gallu adnabod sawl siap ac yn cyd-weithio yn wych gyda’i gilydd. Llawn cyffro wrth weld enfys ar ein taith hefyd!

What fun we had hunting for shapes in outdoor area. Everyone was able to recognise different shapes and all worked together nicely. A lot of excitement to see a rainbow on our hunt also.
