Mae’r plant wedi bod yn gweitho yn galed yr wythnos hon ar ddysgu geiriau newydd o fewn ein sesiynau tric a chlic.
The children have been busy this week learning new words within our Tric a chlic sessions.
Adeiladu sylfaen o wybodaeth ac yn meddu’r sgiliau i gysylltu a chymhwyso’r wybodaeth honno o fewn testunau gwahanol / Building up a body of knowledge and have the skills to connect and apply that knowledge in different contexts
Mathemateg a Rhifedd / Mathematics and Numeracy
Fe wnaeth y plant fynd ati i amcangyfri y nifer o blociau a oedd yn pwyso yr un faint a gwahanol gwrthrychau yn y dosbarth.
The children have been busy collecting items in the class and guessing what its weight would be by using blocks.
Yn cymryd rhan mewn gweithgarwch corfforol / Have the confidence to participate in performance
Gallu esbonio’r syniadau a’r cysyniadau maen nhw’n eu dysgu, holi ac yn mwynhau a adeiladu sylfaen o wybodaeth/ Can explain the ideas and concepts they are learning about, are questioning and enjoying and are building up a body of knowledge
Mae’r plant wedi bod yn brysur yn dysgu a casglu ffeithiau am y flwyddyn newydd Tseiniaidd. Bu’r plant yna yn dysgu mae blwyddyn y gwningen yw hi y flwyddyn hon. Gwnaeth y plant yna cael y cyfle i ymarfer ei sgiliau torri a gludo wrth iddynt gwneud cwningen ei hun.
The children have been busy learning and collecting facts about the Chinese new year. The children also learnt that this year we are celebrating the year of the rabbit. The children then had the opportunity to practise their cutting skills to make a rabbit of their own.

The children have been busy experimenting with different food in order to make a variety of different faces.
Bu’r plant yn adeiladu sylfaen o wybodaeth ac yn meddu’r sgiliau i gysylltu a chymhwyso’r wybodaeth hon o fewn testunau gwahanol/ The children built up a body of knowledge and have the skills to connect and apply that knowledge in different contexts
Yr wythnos hon mae’r plant wedi dechrau edrych ar y sgil o hanneri rhifau cyfan. Fel ffordd i hwyluso’r dysgu cafodd y plant cyfle i ddysgu ac i atgyfnerthu yr hyn mae’nt wedi dysgu yn yr ystafell ddosbarth i mewn i sefyllfaoedd gwahanol.
This week the children have started looking at the skill of halving whole numbers. As a way to facilitate their learning the children had the opportunity to reinforce what they have learned in the classroom into different situations.

Bu’r plant yn brysur heddiw yn datrys problemau cracio cod, fe ddefnyddiwyd amrywiaeth wrthrychau yn y dosbarth i helpu ddatrys y broblem.
The children were busy today solving code cracking problems, a variety of objects were used in class to help solve the problem.

Bu’r plant yn dysgu am hanes Santes Dwynwen ar yr 25.1.23 ac o ganlyniad penderfynnon fel dosbarth i greu cardiau er mwyn dathlu’r diwrnod.
The children learned about the history of Saint Dwynwen on 25.1.23 and as a result they decided as a class to create cards to celebrate the day.
Cymhwyso gwybodaeth am effaith deiet ac ymarfer corff ar iechyd corfforol a meddyliol yn eu bywydau bob dydd / Apply knowledge about the impact of diet and exercise on physical and mental health in their daily lives
Cafodd blwyddyn 1 y cyfle i blasu ffrwythau gwahanol yr wythnos hon wrth ein bod yn dysgu am bwysigrwydd bwyta’n iach.
Year1 had the opportunity to taste new fruits this week while learning how important it is to eat healthily.

Bu plant blwyddyn 1 yn manteisio ar rhaglen ‘balanceability’ dros yr wythnos hon yn ymarfer ei sgiliau cyd bwyso drwy gwneud cyrsiau rhwystrau.
Year 1 children took advantage of the ‘balance ability’ program this week practicing their balancing skills through various obstacle courses.
